Life Insurance Process


The process for obtaining life insurance is quite simple and starts with finding the right agent to assess your needs. Once a product is chosen whether it be a term life or a universal/whole life insurance policy, the next step is always completing the application. Once the application is signed, it is sent off to the insurance carrier of your choice and the underwriting process begins.

Within a few days of submitting the application, you will receive a phone call from a Para-Med company to schedule a time to come to your home to complete a full exam. The Para-Med company then submits the results of the exam to the insurance carrier for a final decision. The underwriter will determine based on the exam results, prior medical history and lifestyle which health class you fall under. From there, a policy is generated and mailed to Reliance Insurance Advisors for delivery.

Once the policy is delivered to you and payment is collected, the policy is inforce. You can then have the piece of mind that your loved one's will be protected if something unexpected were to happen. Call Reliance Insurance Advisors so we can guide you through the process.
